What do I think is the future of the nature of warfare?I think the future of the nature of warfare will involve nuclear and chemical weapons as well as mass UAV's squadrons. No soldiers will be located in the war zone, instead at a facility in their country, behind a control computer. Artificial Intelligence will play a key role as I think that some UAV's will be able make decisions by themselves without needing authentication from a human soldier. Trench Warfare will be well past us and even the times when soldiers and machinery, such as tanks and aircraft, worked as a unit to create mobile attacks, will be almost non-existent because of no soldiers in the war zone. I think this type of warfare could be extremely dangerous but also have significant outcomes.
Why do I think it's important that the nature of warfare changed during World War 1?I think it's important that the nature of warfare changed during World War 1 so that civilization was able to advance to the stage it's at today. Without the change in the nature of warfare we may have been wiped out during the war due to other sides having far more advanced strategies and technology. The change also resulted in a better understanding of why trench warfare was so ineffective and without that change we may still be using those methods of warfare today.

What do others think of the new UAV's being used instead of soldiers? After talking to others, I have found that they think the new UAV's are extremely helpful as they keep soldiers out of danger and lower the death rate in many war zones. Both interviewees believed that having automated drones could potentially be dangerous though, because if the drone system was to malfunction, it could result in many people being targeted and killed and cause even more danger.
